Players choose a ruleset, including Normal, PvP or Roleplaying; Blizzard has also confirmed Roleplay-PvP at launch, with Hardcore planned afterward. Characters on different rulesets cannot group together for dungeons and raids. Check the source announcement before starting with friends.
